RESULTS STATEMENT
The Beds Crew Leader leads and supports BSS employees in providing excellent service to our valued customers ensuring that landscaped beds are weed and garbage free within company standards and on time while strategically taking initiative to solve current and anticipated problems independently and creatively.
STRATEGIC WORK
Motivates crew to perform with excellence by modeling professionalism and servant leadershipReviews Work Tickets daily to ensure appropriate time is allotted and assignments are clearChecks fluids in vehicle and completes Mechanical Order Request Form, as neededCompletes vehicle checklist to ensure it is completely ready for next work dayAdheres to and maintains Standard Operating ProceduresMeets with Division Leader weekly to discuss quality and improvementTrains new hires on AspireProvides Plant Health Care Field Leader with constructive feedback for performance reviews and efficiency concerns
TACTICAL WORK
Differentiates weeds versus desirable plantsSprays entire weed surface when possibleCreates efficient walking and sequence strategiesEquips backpacks, accurately mixing chemicals as neededHand-pulls live and dead weedsSafely drives truckPromptly enters correct information into AspireCollects and properly disposes of trash from job siteExhibits willingness to work on any company crew using assigned equipment (BSS prefers and provides opportunities for year-round employment)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
18 years of age or olderLegal, valid, unrestricted, driver's licenseAbility to work through the end of October is strongly preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS and WORKING CONDITIONS
