Director of Business Continuity (Finance)

What we do:
Part of the Operations and Resiliency Group, the Business Continuity and Resiliency Function strengthens and supports the Bank's resiliency through a holistic approach from planning to response to recovery and mitigation.
This role leads the Business Continuity team on cross-Group projects to support the Bank's Resiliency objective through all phases of continuity, providing guidance for planning, training, exercising, response, and recovery. This position will work closely with the Director of Evaluation and Analysis and report to the Head of Business Continuity and Resiliency.
Your role as Director of Business Continuity:
As the Director of Business Continuity, you will lead a team that partners across the Bank and throughout the System to advance and continuously strengthen the resiliency of the Federal Reserve System. Key responsibilities include:
Lead a team to collaborate with and provide guidance to business areas on their business continuity plan development, crisis management, and testing strategies.
Work closely with System providers and all levels of management to successfully execute business continuity related initiatives.
During contingency events, coordinate the Bank's response, including providing clear information for decision-makers.
Stay apprised of industry best practices and shares and incorporates into programs where applicable.
Lead a team to maintain and administer the portfolio of applications used to support business continuity activities.

Demonstrated experience coordinating and leading collaborative, cross-functional teams in a mission-driven organization.
Ability to distill complex information into manageable, actionable documents and briefs.
Creative thinker with a track-record of resourceful problem-solving.
Experience leading and developing staff and fostering an inclusive and collaborative workplace environment.
Experience continually enhancing programs and processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with crisis coordination a plus.
Contract/consultant management experience a plus.
Salary Range: $260000 - $310000 / year
