Social Media Analyst (Finance)

Through both an increased investment in and an organizational prioritization of social media, Kimberly-Clark's North American brands have committed to evolving their social presence and strategies. In support of that commitment, we're looking for an experienced, sharp social media analyst capable of transforming raw social media data into actionable insights by tracking, analyzing, and interpreting user behavior, engagement patterns, and campaign performance across various platforms. Using advanced analytics tools and statistical methods, the Social Media Data Analyst will be responsible for identifying trending topics & themes, measuring ROI on social media initiatives, and providing data-driven recommendations that help optimize content strategy and audience targeting. Through their analysis, they will enable our brands to make informed decisions about social media investments, improve customer engagement, and ultimately drive better business outcomes by understanding what resonates with our audiences and why.
In this role, you will:
Design and implement comprehensive tracking systems to monitor social media KPIs across all platforms, ensuring accurate data collection and measurement of engagement, reach, and conversion metrics
Conduct in-depth analysis of social media campaigns, creating detailed performance reports that highlight ROI, audience behavior patterns, and content effectiveness
Utilize advanced analytics tools and statistical methods to identify trends, define consumer cohorts, and provide data-driven recommendations for content optimization and audience targeting
Build and maintain custom dashboards that visualize key social media metrics, making complex data accessible and actionable for stakeholders across the organization
Perform competitive analysis and benchmark reporting to track brand performance against industry standards and competitors' social media presence
Collaborate with the Brand, Social Media, and Insights & Analytics teams to establish meaningful performance metrics and goals, providing regular insights to guide strategy development
Generate regular reports on sentiment analysis, tracking brand health, share of voice, and customer perception across social platforms
Develop and maintain documentation of data collection methodologies, analysis procedures, and reporting frameworks
Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in data collection and analysis processes, implementing solutions to streamline workflow

In one of our professional roles, you'll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, data analytics or related field
5+ years' experience in a relevant social role, with a minimum of 3 years in a data-focused strategic or client services role on a social team
Background in social content strategy, organic, paid and earned/influencer marketing with a history of optimizing social campaigns & initiatives through data-driven insights, measurement & reporting.
Deep understanding of the social media landscape and social platform algorithms.
Excellent communication/presentation skills; ability to inform, influence and negotiate across functions and with all organization levels. Ability to story tell well via PowerPoint & data reporting.
Experience with social analytics tools and track record of synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations & guidance. Experience with native social platforms, Sprinklr and/or comparable platforms strongly preferred.
Ability to manage and influence stakeholders at various levels of seniority across a highly matrixed organization.
Preferred:
Experience providing insights for large brands and/or national campaigns
Experience concepting, creating, and posting brand content across owned social channels
Ability to ideate and concept creative optimizations both independently and in collaboration with team members
Experience within an agency is a plus

Salary Range: $79,000 - $93,000 USD
At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit-Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
This role is available for local candidates already authorized to work in the role's country only. Kimberly-Clark will not provide relocation support for this role.
