Job Summary
Position is on-site at CITGO Lubricants located at 3737 S. Cicero Ave, Cicero, IL 60804. Supervise all activities, associated with the blending, packaging, warehousing, and shipping of finished oil and grease products. Schedules blending operations, packaging production runs, and carrier pick-up times necessary to meet customer demand and bulk/finished packaged inventory stocking levels. Assists in the hiring, training, and discipline of employees directly supervised.
Salary range $90,000 - $118,700

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 2 years' work-related experience or High School diploma with 5 years' work-related experience.
Computer skills.
General knowledge of packaging, blending, shipping and loading of materials.
Working knowledge of lubricants and greases.
Valid driver's license required.
Job Duties
Supervises the activities of packaging, blending, and shipping personnel to ensure production and customer demands are met and maximum efficiency is achieved.
Analyze raw material requirements, and schedule daily production blends/grease cooks for packaging lines. Communicate problems, delays, or errors to the appropriate department supervisors and/or production planner. Also communicate as required to carriers, Order Management, and other internal and external stakeholders any issues that could affect shipping product to customers.
Distribute oil and grease production schedules to blenders as required.
Create the necessary documentation associated with blending, packaging, and shipping and perform the appropriate SAP process order and Goods Issued confirmations, as applicable. Includes processing of process orders, reporting, shipping documents (BOLs), and other records necessary to provide traceability of production/shipping.
Job Duties II
Conduct safety meetings and observe personnel and equipment for unsafe conditions. Maintain knowledge of safety procedures and enforce all plant safety rules.
Monitor the blending and/or packaging of bulk and/or packaged finished oil/grease products to ensure they meet product specifications and are manufactured per quality procedures.
Evaluate applicants and assists in hiring. Evaluate employee performance and training needs. Assist in the training and discipline of employees as needed.
Make recommendations pertaining to equipment needs and assist in the specification of new equipment.
