What you'll do:
The Teller is typically the first person the customer encounters when whey walk into a bank. Tellers process a variety of routine financial transactions (check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, etc.) and accurately balance these transactions while maintaining friendly and positive relationships with customers and coworkers. Responsibilities include:
Operate a teller drawer to serve customers and bank personnel in lobby or drive up.
Recognize potential cross-sell opportunities and direct customers to appropriate bank personnel.
Develop skills to recognize potential fraud and report to management as necessary.
Comply with all department, bank and regulatory policies and procedures.
May be responsible for bank opening/closing and may be required to participate in community events.
Assist with training of teller staff and problem resolution.
Assist manager with operational tasks such as audits and bookkeeping.
Qualifications:
1+ years of previous teller experience.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
High school degree or equivalent required
Able to lift 30 lbs.; able to stand for long periods of time
Travel between branches may be necessary
