We are hiring a Principal Specialist - US Market Activation to be part of our growing US market development strategy team as we expand the launch of this novel therapy. We look for leaders at every level who have a clear vision of where we are going and how to get there and are bold inclusive thinkers who create new ideas and bring our best solutions forward to benefit our patients, business partners, and customers.
A DAY IN THE LIFE:
This individual will be responsible for coordinating RDN commercial activation within key markets across the US and collaborating across the commercial launch team and cross-functional teams to accelerate market growth opportunities . Responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate across key internal partners including marketing, communications, reimbursement, and sales and market development field partners to coordinate the launch of commercial activation efforts in strategic US mark ets .
- Align with key functional leaders on strategy and execution of market activation plans.
- Lead core team to execute, track, and optimize activation initiatives . Report-out on progress and results.
- Coordinate with global s pecialty leads to localize global market development plans for key US markets. Collaborate to execute in US and roll-out to sales and market development field partners.
- Build materials to train sales and market development field teams on market activation plans in partnership with cross-functional subject matter experts.
- Build a strong understanding of the clinical data and economic drivers to develop value messaging that will resonate with key stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to incorporate messaging into internal and external tools and resources.
- Develo p and recommend key performance indicators to define effectiveness . Track and share performance through regular dashboards and optimization recommendations.
- Ability to travel as needed, up to 25 % of the time.
Must Have:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, market development strategy, or program development work (5+ years with Advanced Degree)
Nice to Have:
- Masters or another Advanced Degree
- Product or program launch and commercialization experience
- Proven a bility to lead a cross-functional core team through effective execution
- Experience within an agency, healthcare, or consumer-focused industry with direct-to-consumer experience
- Exceptional collaboration and communications skills. Success will depend on ability to work cross-functionally to align objectives , formulate, and execute a plan across multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
- Experience collaborating with healthcare economics on market access activities with the proven ability to understand economic drivers of a healthcare system

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$127,200.00 - $190,800.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance , Health Savings Account , Healthcare Flexible Spending Account , Life insurance, Long-term disability leave , Dependent daycare spending account , Tuition assistance/reimbursement , and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
