Join the Digital Evolution team as a Sr Software Engineer where you will be responsible for developing data storage and integration solutions, internal business user solutions, and maintaining and supporting systems. In this role, you will be part of a team of developers writing high-quality, scalable, and high-performing code using C#, SQL, .NET Core, ASP.NET, Web API, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Responsibilities:
- Hands-on development work for assigned engineering projects.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions with cross-functional teams.
- Sit in on code reviews with engineering team – provide guidance and feedback post-review.
- Maintain, improve, and document new and legacy systems.
- Deploy and unit test code.
- Provide after-hours support for systems.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or other technical discipline or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of experience with .NET and C# development
- 3+ years of experience developing applications in Azure.
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL
- 3+ years of experience with CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
- 2+ years of experience with frontend JavaScript frameworks, such as Angular, React, or Vue
- Experience with CosmosDB, MongoDB, or other NoSQL data solutions
- Experience with Databricks
- Experience implementing software using Kubernetes, Docker, or other containerization technologies.
- Experience with event-based and micro-service style architecture
- 7+ years of experience with .NET and C# development
- Experience with source control systems using GIT and Microsoft Azure DevOps
- Experience with Azure Functions
- Experience using logging and diagnostic tools in Azure to discover, diagnose, and solve problems.
- Experience building highly scalable systems and performance tuning them.
