Job Description:
Project schedulers perform various functions, which may vary with the specification of the project, field engineers, superintendents, and project managers assigned.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
Create, monitor, and analyze project schedules in accordance with standard of best project practiceTrack, analyze, and report information appropriately to allow the project teams to manage their projects and evaluate weekly reportsEnsure accuracy of project schedules and performed version controlCo-ordinate project schedules, tasks, meeting updates, and efficient distribution of reportsPrepare, implement, and monitor scopes of work using Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for control and integrityMonitor projects progress, including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts and progress achieved to dateMaintain project risk register to ensure that risks are effectively managed to minimize their impact on schedule, scope, and budget of projectsTrack baselines, perform what-if analysis, and develop contingency plansDeveloping conceptual models for Business Capability traceability matrix to explain processes to all levels of usersPerform coordination of cross-functional departments to identify project issues, monitor action items, and work with the project manager to ensure resolution.Teach project team members how to use schedule-related tools and processes.Identify risks: Anticipate potential issues and delays, and propose solutions.
Job Requirements:
Fluent in P6/Primavera Scheduling softwareFluent in Bluebeam and Microsoft programs 2 + years experience in Project Scheduling 2+ years experience in electrical or construction industry BA Construction management is preferred Strong time management skillsProficiency in project scheduling softwareExcellent communication skillsDetail-orientedAbility to work well with othersKnowledge of the project's specifications
