Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients, particularly in settings such as nursing homes and medical offices. This position requires a strong understanding of patient care, including emergency medicine and geriatrics, as well as adherence to HIPAA regulations. The Nursing Assistant will work closely with nursing staff to ensure patients receive the best possible support and assistance.
Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide care for patients with dementia and other cognitive impairments.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.
- Support nursing staff in critical care situations by following established protocols.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
- Assist in transporting patients within the facility as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and progress.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with geriatrics and dementia care techniques.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Must be able to pass any required background checks or screenings.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
Schedule: Day 6am - 6pm Night 6pm - 6am
