Are you passionate about shaping the future of network systems and automation in a global enterprise? We are seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our Network Systems & Automation team. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovation in network architecture, modernize infrastructure management through automation, and lead the evolution of our global enterprise network.

The Lead Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for driving the design, implementation, and support of advanced network systems and automation solutions. The role encompasses technical leadership, collaboration across teams, and hands-on engineering to address complex infrastructure challenges.
Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, load balancing, firewalls, and network virtualization (e.g., VMware NSX).
Lead the adoption of automation frameworks such as Ansible, Terraform, and event-driven solutions (e.g., Event-Driven Ansible).
Develop and implement strategies for infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.
Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving best practices in network engineering.
Optimize and manage Cisco infrastructure tools (Catalyst Center, Nexus Dashboard, APIC).
Guide strategic initiatives to evolve network architecture and automation capabilities.
Network Engineering and Architecture Expertise
Advanced understanding of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, load balancing, firewalls).
Expertise in network routing and protocols in global corporate enterprises (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Dynamic Routing, VPN technologies, SD-WAN).
Strong knowledge of networks virtualization (VMware NSX).
Automation and Orchestration Skills
Experience with modern Cisco infrastructure management and control systems, such as: Catalyst Center (formerly DNA Center), Nexus Dashboard (formerly DCNM), Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC).
Experience with infrastructure automation frameworks (Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
Proficiency in event-driven automation and rule-based systems (e.g., Event-Driven Ansible).
Familiarity with orchestration tools and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Technical Leadership and Collaboration
Demonstrated expertise in technical leadership, driving the adoption of automation and network engineering best practices.
Proven ability to guide cross-functional teams on technical initiatives, fostering collaboration with key stakeholders (e.g., ServiceNow integration, CloudOps).
Strong strategic thinking skills to develop and implement roadmaps for automation and network infrastructure evolution.
Scripting and Programming
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Experience with automation development and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for network services.
Monitoring and Automation Intervention
Expertise in network monitoring tools (Splunk, OpenSearch, Grafana, Solar Winds, CA Spectrum).
Experience with event or state driven automation to create self-healing infrastructure (such as Event Driven Ansible).
Cloud and Hybrid Infrastructure Management
Understanding of cloud networking solutions (AWS, Azure).
Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-region failover strategies.
Wireless Network Infrastructure
Familiarity with wireless architecture in large global enterprises and support for troubleshooting and resolving issues with Wi-Fi infrastructure.
Security and Compliance
Knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and governance.
Experience implementing security best practices for network infrastructure automation.
Experience with network segmentation and infrastructure protection (Illumio, Cisco TrustSec, VMware NSX Firewall).
Project Execution and Vendor Management
Solid track record of leading complex infrastructure projects, with a focus on integrating cutting-edge technology solutions.
Hands-on experience in vendor management, particularly in evaluating, selecting, and managing network hardware and software providers to optimize performance and cost-efficiency.

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to three days per week from home.
Base salary ranges:
$146,000.00 - $248,000.00 for the location of: California, New YorkPlacement within the range provided above is based on the individual's relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
