Support program operations to increase access to the East Boston Farmers Market, Online Farmers Market, CSA program, and Wellness Garden, working closely with the Coordinator of Food Access Initiatives.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support EB farmers market, online EB farmers market, and CSA outreach and promotion efforts.
Support management of CSA and online market pick up and payment tracking.
Assist Coordinator with set up, volunteer coordination, vendor support, and community education of food resources at farmers market.
Provide HIP education to customers and community members.
Assist Coordinator with community garden maintenance, participant outreach, and facilitating meetings and workshops.
Act as Market Lead for Office of Food Justice Farmers' Market Coupon Program from July – October (coupon collection and data reporting).
Assist with other administrative and project tasks as needed
(supply ordering, evaluation efforts, translation of materials)
Maintain excellent punctuality and attendance.
Promote a sense of “team work” through demonstration of self-
direction and self-motivation. Solve problems independently or knows when to seek consultation.
Displays outstanding customer service skills when interacting with all NeighborHealth customers according to the ACE model.
Adheres to all NeighborHealth and departmental polices and procedures.
Participate in required departmental activities and meetings.
Perform other related duties.
