Role description:
Arcadis's Intelligent Mobility Services (IMS) group offers technology consulting services to public and private sector mobility clients. IMS is looking to appoint a Global Market Sector Lead to coordinate internally and drive sales with rail and transit clients in the US, Canada, and the UK.
The IMS Rail and Transit Global Market Sector Lead is primarily a Growth role but the person will have also hatted responsibilities in the delivery of projects. The expected split of the role is 60% Growth and 40% project delivery.
Role reports to the IMS Sales Director.

Market Sector Lead (Primary Role)
The Global Market Sector Lead will work with the IMS Country Leads and other in-country leaders to drive Net Order Intake with rail and transit clients. Specific responsibilities of the role include (all points related to IMS work within the "Rail and Transit" market sector):
In addition to the primary Growth role described above, the Global Market Sector Lead will also be involved at a senior level in the management and delivery of projects for Rail and Transit clients. The nature of the secondary part of the role will vary depending on project needs but is expected to include:
To be successful in this role, you will need to be degree-qualified in a relevant discipline, with a proven track record of profitably growing market presence and client accounts within a consulting, engineering, or professional services organization. You will need to show technical knowledge in technology as applied to the rail/transit sector and be able to articulate how technology investments lead to improved mobility services. You will need an ambitious mindset, an entrepreneurial attitude, strategic focus and a strong business acumen. You will enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, across geographies and building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships. Existing client contacts within the rail and transit sector are highly desirable, particularly within the US, Canada, and the UK.

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $136,719 - $209,636. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
