Project Manager (Information Technology)
Total Safety is looking for a Project Manager to join their safety conscious team! The Project Manager, in summary, acts in support of the Capital Fire Projects to directly plan, coordinate, and supervise Total Safety, Inc. personnel and activities, during a “Project” at a customer on-site location.

Essential Duties:
Initiates start-up and close-out of Capital Fire Projects.
Strictly adhered to all Total Safety, Inc. Procedures, and Capital Fire Project Policies & Protocols at the On-Site location.
Interfaces with the Sales force to ensure that all customer expectations are met.
Reports to Capital Fire Projects Supervisor on project scheduling and overall performance of Capital Fire Projects.
Processes all Project billing documents to insure correct invoicing.
Coordinates Capital Fire Project activities and interfaces with customer management or supervision to resolve any issues that may arise.
Ensures that any other required PPE equipment is made available.
Identifies needs and submits requests for equipment and materials to sustain On-Site support during a Capital Fire Project.
Oversees customer service in the areas of training, i.e., Qualitative/Quantitative Respirator Fit Testing, Fresh Air Breathing & SCBA training, Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT's) and Bottle Watch training.
Enforce performance standards and maintain personnel accountability.
Ensure that all tasks and assignments are performed in accordance with applicable Total Safety Operating Procedures and/or guidelines.
Encourages and supports professional development and training of subordinates.
Maintains a high state of integrity and professionalism in carrying out this position's duties and responsibilities.
Skills and Experience:
At least five (5) years of field experience in fire protection, petrochemical, oil refinery or related industry. Supervisory experience preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license from state of residence and valid proof of vehicle insurance. Must possess safe driving record and be insurable for Total Safety vehicle insurance while driving company truck.
Must be willing to travel to customers' sites and available for travel for short and long-term out-of-town and/or offshore projects.
Must obtain TWIC card and other safety related badges/certifications as needed.
Must have thorough knowledge of Total Safety products and services in assigned area. Have or obtain State Fire Marshal licenses for appropriate areas of service before performing work there. Obtain NICET level II certification in the appropriate area(s).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and other database software.
Ability to quickly learn new software applications utilized by company.
Must demonstrate commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, an unwavering commitment to safety and health and other company policies and procedures.
Must possess high ethical standards demonstrated by their approach to business.
Must demonstrate leadership and the ability to coordinate resources to achieve maximum profitability, efficiency, and utilization.
Must understand and effectively manage key financial issues that impact service and operations functions and the business.
Experience with budget preparation and cost control.
Must be able to prepare accurate, effective, complete, and easily understood written communications and reports.
Proficiency in the care and use of all sites specific, facility and customer required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
Trained in Respiratory Protection and fully certified to wear respiratory breathing equipment (Fit Tested).
Must demonstrate ability to work and lead in a team environment and willingness to assume additional or new responsibilities readily.

Educational Requirements:
High School diploma or GED. Associates degree in science or technical area strongly preferred.
