Data Architect (Information Technology)
This Data Architect role is focused on architecting, and guiding the implementation of, a suite of data and information services that are used internally and by our external customers. As part of their responsibility, this person will work with product managers and the lead Data Platform Architect to establish the architecture and design for those services. Further, this role will collaborate with other architects and specialists across infrastructure, security services, and applications. The Data Architect will be developing data services for data intake, storage, and distribution. Our data systems reside across a hybrid environment, e.g. on premises and cloud, with the latter being the primary destination, so preference is for someone with experience with managing data in a cloud environment.
The Data Architect is a technical leader responsible for researching, analyzing, proposing and architecting services that align with the business and technology requirements. The Data Architect collaborates with business stakeholders, technology providers, and other architects to develop technology and information architectures, strategies, and roadmaps. The level of work required is advanced and staff must be able to work under minimal supervision. This job does not have any direct reports.

The expected starting salary range for this position is between $145,000 and $171,000 annually in addition to annual performance-based discretionary bonuses. Final salary and offer are determined by the applicant's relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and geographic and other market data.
