Firestopping Foreman/Leadman (Finance)
Job Description Summary:
Provide expertise in performing journeyman-level Firestopping duties. Consult with clients and contractors in a professional manner, assigning tasks, making sure jobs are completed in due time and ensure work is performed according to Company standards. Discipline, mentor, and monitor performance of employees. Support activities at all Company jobsites as directed.
Job Description:
• Provide expertise in performing journeyman-level firestopping duties.
• Installation of firestop material at Drywall, Masonry, and Curtain Wall joint applications.
• Inspect work to ensure installation was done per approved design documents.
• Ability to read blueprints/life safety drawings.
• Document repairs that cannot be completed, obtain and record specifications for materials to be ordered.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing components.
• Install access doors in rated assemblies.
• Hang & Repair drywall.
• Installation and repair of wall assemblies. (Metal Framing & Repair if Gypsum and Masonry Construction)
• Load and unload project materials and equipment.
• Complete prep work for all applications.
• Properly maintain equipment and tools.
• Estimate time, material, equipment and supplies needed.
• Develop work schedules and crew assignments.
• Maintain records of operations
• Monitor inventories and request supplies and equipment.
• Ensure work areas are properly maintained.
• Utilize a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issues.
• Consult with clients and contractors in a professional manner.
• Ensure jobs are completed in due time and work is performed according to Swinerton standards.
• Discipline, mentor and monitoring performance of employees.
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Foreman or similar role
• Lift and/or pull 50lbs., climb ladders, work off ladders, man lifts or other equipment
• Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool belt.
• Display basic computer skills.
• Capable of working in a variety of weather conditions

• Adhere to all OSHA and Company safety practices and procedures.
• Support activities at all Company jobsites as directed.
