Quality Control Internship (Finance)

Responsibilities
- Assist in performing inspections of incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Document and report any quality-related issues or defects in products.
- Be a leader, by example, for the quality control team, by following all current processes and procedures.
- Provide training for new team members throughout peak season.
- Participate in training sessions to understand quality control processes and best practices.
- Support the execution of internal audits and evaluations of quality systems.
- Report any process issues or concerns to your Supervisor.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Quality Assurance, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent observation skills.
- Basic knowledge of quality control principles and methodologies.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout an 8 to 10-hour shift.
- Ability to bend, lift, squat, stoop, walk, and climb throughout an 8 to 10-hour shift.
Pay, Shift, & Location
- $20.00/hr
- Shift - 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday-Friday, with overtime as needed that could include Saturday.
- Location - Indy North: 5550 W. 74 th , Street, Indianapolis, IN 46268
- Internship Duration - 8 to 12-weeks
