The Banquet Server will play a vital role in providing excellent service while participating in the preparation, set-up, service, and break-down of catered functions. This position is responsible for replenishing buffets, food & beverage stations, and snack breaks as well as clearing tables and ensuring guest satisfaction. Other responsibilities include polishing and presenting glassware and cutlery, setting linen, and various tasks that guarantee efficient service. The Banquet Server will also serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Federal, State, Local, and DMNS regulations.

Essential Duties
Provides a friendly and professional atmosphere for guests.
Is attentive to guest's needs and requests.
Works in a team atmosphere with other servers to provide the highest quality service.
Provides service that meets or exceeds museum standards.
Performs proper serving etiquette.
Adheres to all policies and procedures as set forth in Server Training Manual.
Assists with set-up of room per diagram with appropriate, tables, chairs, tablecloths and table wares.
At close of event, performs proper breakdown as assigned by the Banquet Captain with equipment returned to the appropriate and designated storage area.
Other duties as assigned.
