Senior Structural Engineer (Finance)

Role description:
Arcadis is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Resilience Water Team in Jacksonville, Florida! This role will lead and support North regional and national projects.
This is an exciting career opportunity for a self-motivated engineer to lead small to mid-sized structural project teams on a variety of Water, Wastewater, and Resiliency Projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong working knowledge and experience in the structural design of Water and Wastewater Facility Structures including above and below ground concrete tankage, one to two story process support structures, and associated equipment pads and pipe supports.
Role accountabilities:
As a key member of the design team, you will assume the lead role in overseeing all structural design aspects relating to new water and wastewater facilities, upgrades to existing facilities, resiliency evaluations, design tasks, and structural assessments. Additionally, your duties will involve carrying out senior-level technical and design responsibilities.
Your role will encompass supervising and guiding small to mid-sized structural project teams/resources, ensuring the completion of technical tasks by team members, offering technical mentoring and guidance, managing project budgets and schedules, conducting quality reviews of calculations, drawings, and specifications, and ensuring the timely delivery of assigned structural projects while adhering to Arcadis and client technical and quality standards.
Furthermore, your responsibilities will include coordinating structural work with various engineering disciplines, office/project staff, clients, and subcontractors throughout the project life cycle, including services during the construction phase. Occasional travel may be necessary to support projects as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
The candidate will need at least 10 years of experience in structural design, specifically within water and wastewater facility structures. A Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field is essential. Additionally, candidates must hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Key Skills and Attributes:
Candidates should have a experience leading productive structural project design teams and guiding junior staff. Excellent communication abilities, encompassing both verbal and written skills, are a must. Proficiency in REVIT, BIM 360, and Bluebeam is essential. Additionally, candidates should possess experience and expert skills working with software such as MathCad, Tekla Tedds, Enercalc, RISA, RamStructural System, RamAdvanse, or other similar structural software.
Preferred Skills:
A Master's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field of study is preferred. Additionally, candidates who hold a Structural Engineer (SE) license.

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $146,400/year . Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
