Adult Group & Outpatient Therapist (Healthcare)
Nystrom & Associates, Ltd.is a team of mental health professionals that specialize in psychiatric evaluations, clinical social work, and family therapy. Founded in 1991, we offer an intensive outpatient substance use disorder treatment program, psychological testing, and behavioral health and medication management services.
We are seeking to hire aFull-Time Adult Day Treatment Group & Outpatient Therapist. This role will split time as a Group Therapist and an individual Outpatient Therapist. As an Adult Day Treatment Group Therapist, you will be working with clients by offering an intensive psychotherapy group experience to help reduce the effects of mental illness and provide skills to empower clients to live in the community independently. Outside the Adult Day Treatment group hours, you will build and maintain a small caseload of clients seeking individual outpatient therapy services.

What You'll Do:
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessmentsProvide high-quality individual therapyDevelop and implement effective treatment plansCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated careMaintain accurate and organized electronic health recordsFacilitating (and/or co-facilitating depending upon size) the groups, including crisis management services as neededCompletion of a LOCUS under the supervision of a Mental Health ProfessionalProviding oversight to clients during breaks as neededAttend clinical staff meetingsConsulting and/or updating outside providers regarding clients status or progressWorking in collaboration with other Adjunct FacilitatorsAdditional tasks may be specified by the ADT Supervisor/ADT Program Director.

Group Schedule: 1:00pm - 4:00pmMorning hours will be working with individual clients
