Position Overview
We are looking for a Business Security Officer (BSO) Manager to facilitate the Wintrust BSO Program. The BSO Manager will ensure that each Business Line BSO is an embedded business representative that will facilitate, promote, and communicate the Wintrust Security and Fraud programs as well as provide feedback to Security and Fraud. Each Business Line BSO is responsible for the oversight of their respective business areas compliance with Wintrust Security and Fraud policies and programs.
The primary responsibility of the BSO Manager is to bridge the gap between business objectives and information security and fraud requirements. The BSO Manager ensures that security and fraud strategies are effectively integrated into business processes, thus safeguarding sensitive financial data and maintaining regulatory compliance.
By fulfilling this role, the BSO Manager helps to protect the financial institution's assets, maintains customer trust, and supports the sustainable growth of the business.
What You'll Do
Facilitate and oversee the Business Line BSO to ensure continuity of service to the enterprise
Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly updates to executive staff on status and value statement of the program
Train, empower, and encourage BSO's in accomplishing their role
Strengthen the organization's overall security posture by adopting robust security controls with business units
Maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards, minimizing the risk of legal and financial penalties
Assist with the development, updating, and adherence to IAM policies and procedures
Enable secure business operations by embedding security into the development and deployment of new products and services
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 10 years of business experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a wide range of audiences
Experience leading projects or initiatives in a complex environment
Experience in taking complex ideas and relating them in easy-to-understand language
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills with a high level of personal integrity and the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and who an appropriate level of judgment and maturity

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $117,000.00 - $158,000.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
