The Human Resources Coordinator supports the recruitment and hiring process of Viking across Texas, provides administrative support to the human resources team as needed, including HRIS and Learning Management System maintenance, and supports ongoing internal and third party requests for information. The Human Resources Coordinator will work from our headquarters located at 8920 Business Park Drive, Austin, Texas and report to the Director of Human Resources. This position is full time, non-exempt and is eligible for overtime pay if available. Key Duties & Responsibilities Create and post job requisitions, job postings, and job descriptions to support ongoing talent acquisition Support hiring managers with applicant pre-screening, phone interviews, applicant documentation and scheduling in person interviews as needed Coordinate post-offer pre-employment requirements including background checks, drug screens, and DOT requirements Act as the primary liaison between company and candidates, taking ownership of the candidates onboarding experience Participate in candidate outreach opportunities including job fairs, recruiting events, and job posting Support ongoing maintenance of the LMS, assigning training and generating reports Assist with maintaining electronic employee records and participates in routine audits Research and implement best practices in talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee learning Support the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) for HR and Safety including ongoing documentation and training on core processes Assist with ongoing and annual benefit enrollments and employee questions Assist in compiling engagement survey data and communication regarding engagement survey activities. Assist employees with general HR inquiries Serve as a backup for payroll processing and other critical HR functions Other activities in support of Viking core values as required
