Dallas- Jr HR Generalist (Bilingual Preferred) (Finance)
Partner and provide day to day support and consultation in associate relations, performance management, retention, and total rewards. Drive sourcing, recruiting, selection and onboarding and partner to create and drive succession planning strategies. 2+ years progressive experience in human resources
Any knowledge of HR business processes and employment laws, proven knowledge and experience working with external recruiting sites, resume databases and external recruiting activities
Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and responsibilities
Ability to build and maintain cooperative business partnerships
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
DESIRED
Bachelor's Degree in human resources or related field
Any previous experience in recruiting/hiring, training and development, coaching, employee relations, and/or HR strategy
PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
Partner and provide day to day support and consultation in associate relations, performance management, retention, and total rewards
Drive sourcing, recruiting, selection and onboarding; verify that new associates are properly on-boarded and trained to perform their work
Coordinate new hire and refresher hospitality training for team members
Deliver and coordinate new hire and refresher OSHA/safety training
Deliver training and communications/processes for performance excellence discussions (PED), talent calibration, compensation planning and performance management
Partner to create and drive succession planning strategies
Support managers in implementing HR processes, procedures, and improving programs to promote retention
Conduct interviews and feedback discussions to identify and track trends that may impact retention
Collect data regarding current processes; develop improved methods with input from stakeholders
Comply with federal, state, and local labor laws, including minor labor laws
Provide counsel and coaching to management on associate issues (i.e., leaves of absence, workers compensation, PTO, policies)
Assist the corporate HR department in conducting associate investigations and identifying resolutions
Travel up to 10% to support assigned lines of business, where applicable
