Test Technician - Electro Mechanical (Engineering)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Diagnose and repair instruments that fail during the test process. Confer with engineering personnel to resolve fabrication issues relating to specifications. Review test plans, such as types and cycles of tests, conditions under which tests are to be conducted, and duration of tests. Keep the test area organized, maintain tools in good working order, and monitor safety conditions of test area. May participate in customer technical training (may be in person or via video) to assist Technical Support team. Organize and prioritize work activities to meet production schedules, per the Team Leaders direction. Coordinate and participate in installing unit or system to be tested in fixtures, connecting valves, pumps, hydraulic, mechanical or electronic controls, cabling, tubing, and power sources. Work in accordance with test procedure. Must be able to troubleshoot at the component level. Must be able to determine the root cause of a problem. Document all test findings and/or resolutions on the QC Reject Data Collection spreadsheet. Report all technical difficulties to the Test Team Leader. Must to be able to operate within standard operating procedures. Follow quality guidelines Follow all applicable Electro Static Discharge (ESD) methods. Follow all safety procedures.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Certified training in an applicable field (vocational school, associate, or applied science degree), and years of experience to effectively perform the duties of the position. Test equipment experience (oscilloscope, volt meters, etc.) required. 5+ years of electronic troubleshooting experience at the component level. Must be able to use small hand tools. Must be able to read schematics. Must have experience trouble shooting Transistor-Transistor Logic (TTL) and Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) circuitry. Experience working with Z80 microprocessor systems

Must be able to stand and/or move while performing job duties The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, infrequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Exemplary attendance and punctuality Visual acuity requirements including color, depth perception, and field of vision. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Must have dexterity of hands and fingers to operate equipment; hearing and speaking ability to exchange information in person or on the telephone; sight ability to read schematics and information.
Schedule: Monday Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
