The product specialist / service manager is a recognized expert in his/her area of expertise within the organization enabling the success of the Elekta regional service operation. He/she is a key stakeholder, working in a multi-disciplinary environment, contributing to improve the product quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities-
Support Elekta Global Field Service operations at regional and national level for escalated service cases.
Investigate complex problems, identify root causes and support corrective action plans.
Provide onsite service assistance as required.
Service lead in design and development projects:
Provide input on all aspects of serviceability, reliability, usability, quality and lifecycle costing.
Define the service parts list.
Create and validate installation and servicing procedures.
Create technical course material.
Define Elekta service employee certification programs.
Define and execute the regional hand over activities such as first in country installations.
Support knowledge management and transfer into regional service groups.
Deliver technical training courses.
Onsite certification of Elekta service engineers.
Proactively monitoring the performance of the global installed base
Analyse customer feedbacks and complaints as part of post-market surveillance activities.
Identify trends and improvement opportunities to improve system reliability and performance
Qualifications-
Bachelor's degree in electronics, mechatronics, medical engineering or relevant working experience.
Min 5 years hands-on experience in a technical service environment.
Experience in the medical capital equipment industry and/or heavily regulated environment is preferred.
Strong analytical skills.
Hands-on nature with a goal to get the job done.
Affinity with software products and IT networks.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with strong desire to share knowledge and experience.
Excellent in speaking and writing in English. Other languages would be an advantage.
High standard of interpersonal skills, based on a strong ethical standard, values and good judgement.
Persistent and persuasive behavior to own and drive cross-functional initiatives.
Collaborative mindset.
Must be willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time.

The US base salary range for this position is $88,944- $133,416.
