Strong customer-facing skills, including but not limited to the ability to plan the repair processes and provide daily, weekly and monthly production reports.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Ordering hardware and material for given repair or rework
Schedule jobs and shipments to work within space given.
Ability to help on floor with light work when needed is a plus
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide leadership to employees by demonstrating ORBIS standards and expectations on an everyday basis.
Supervision of production processes, budget, and business operations.
Oversight and enforcement of ORBIS Safety Programs.
Consistently enforce ORBIS polices through disciplinary action process.
Daily review of production metrics and KPI's: Labor expense, Forklift/Machine Repairs, Cost/Sort, Sorts/Hour.
Direct continuous improvement to maximize efficiency and eliminate waste throughout facility.
Establish and maintain professional relationship with local customer.
Achieve budgeted financial goals for service center; Facilitate payment of site invoices with Finance, including inputs, approvals, new vendor information.
Accurate inventory management.
Resolve any quality problems/complaints.
Perform self-inspection on service centers relative to production and safety.
Procure and maintain all needed operation and facility supplies (Forklifts, Washing Machines, etc.).
Interview, hire, train and develop all service center employees.
Ensure all employees are meeting job level expectations and requirements.
Motivate and train employees to maintain succession plan for future growth/opportunities.
Facilitate payment of site invoices with Finance, including inputs, approvals, new vendor information.
Experience in data entry using a Warehouse Management System.
Strong skills in multi-tasking and proactive thinking.
