Production Control Supervisor (Finance)
Location : 600 State Road 32 West, Crawfordsville, IN
Salary : $62,000 - $103,000, based on experience + bonus eligible
Schedule: Primarily day shift with cross-shift coordination
Lakeside Book Company is seeking a Production Control Supervisor to lead our production planning team. In this role, you'll align plant capacity with customer demand, support scheduling across departments, and help drive operational excellence.
As our Production Control Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise the daily operations of the production planning team
- Monitor plant capacity and adjust plans based on customer needs
- Lead weekly planning meetings and contribute to S&OP updates
- Partner with internal teams to re-engineer or adjust job plans
- Review and adjust daily/weekly schedules to ensure timely delivery
- Manage vendor coordination and internal communications
- Support long-term facility planning and capacity forecasts
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in computer systems and planning tools
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
- Customer-focused mindset with a sense of urgency
- Team leadership experience with the ability to work independently
