Infrastructure Analyst (Legal)

Job Description:
The Infrastructure Analyst will be responsible for all aspects of Enterprise Storage systems. Incident management, effective troubleshooting skills, and problem management with root cause resolution are critical requirements of an Infrastructure Analyst. The position assumes full accountability along with the other members of the Storage team for delivery of services that meet all business requirements in a timely fashion. Furthermore, the position requires the use of good technical, interpersonal, and administrative skills in performing day-to-day work.
Responsibilities
Take ownership and accountability for day-to-day operations ensuring maximum performance, availability and reliability of the supported platform/technology.
Accountable for incident, problem and change management disciplines.
Represent Storage team in incident L1/L2 operational calls.
Troubleshoot incident and problem matters.
Responsible for vendor escalations as and when required.
Responsible for daily monitoring, analyzing, fact finding, and diagnosing on-premises storage.
Perform and oversee upgrades, patches, and maintenance.
Perform and oversee storage decommissions.
Adhere to technical, architecture and security standards, related policies and procedures.
Contribute to policies and procedures to ensure consistent storage provisioning, uptime, and regulatory compliance.
Participate in on call support rotation as required.
Self-motivated. Ability to work under minimal direction, comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.
Requirements
1-3 years' IT industry experience preferably in helpdesk and/or in a technical role.
Ability to manage and troubleshoot multiple IT environments.
Capability to organize, plan and execute incidents and tasks in a timely manner and strict timescales with minimal disruption to our organization and Client base.
An understanding of IT industry standard processes and procedures including ITIL standards
Provide and update infrastructure support and procedural documentation.
Contribute to capacity planning, volume and file systems management, clustering, replication and mirroring, backup/archive and recovery solutions, high availability, storage consolidation/migration, performance and tuning.
Basic understanding of hardware involving I/O, NIC, and HBA, RAID, networking technologies including protocols, NFS, CIFS, TCP/IP, routing and QoS of LAN and WAN.
Knowledge of information life-cycle management concepts and best practices
Communicate clearly and develop positive relationships with peers, customers and all levels of management both verbally and written.
Adapt to rapidly changing technologies and methodologies and apply them to technological and/or business needs of significant scope.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Additional experience beyond the minimum required experience may be substituted for education.
Familiar with automation initiatives for storage creation, configuration, and provisioning
Desire to learn new skills such as Cloud Storage.

The Compensation range for this role is 52,557.30 - 105,114.00 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
