Senior Financial Analyst (Project Management)
Are you an experienced financial professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy? Join the CCE Training and Research Center as a Senior Financial Analyst and take charge of overseeing all financial activities for our dynamic department.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing financial operations across multiple customer accounts, ensuring rigorous cost tracking, and providing essential budgeting guidance. As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will supervise a Senior Accounting Specialist and play a crucial role in backfilling their position during absences. Your daily responsibilities will include scrutinizing actuals against budgets, ensuring proper revenue and expenditure coding, and preparing customer invoices.
A key aspect of this position involves the creation and management of rate calculations, including the maintenance of approximately 23 rate cards. You will ensure that all rate developments comply with Uniform Guidance and will be responsible for creating supporting documentation, managing change processes, and auditing rate card activities.
Additionally, you will handle reconciliations between rate card balances and University financial systems, prepare quarterly spending reports, and manage cost transfers to ensure accurate financial categorization. You will also uphold University financial practices and procedures.
Beyond financial oversight, you will support the Training Center with various administrative tasks such as scheduling classrooms, procuring materials, and managing facilities.

Essential Duties -
Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field, AND:
Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of experience in lieu of a BS Degree for a total of 84 months of experience.
