Performs electrical maintenance, repair and service to electrical components on equipment, machinery and buildings. Performs other repairs and provides work leadership to maintenance staff as assigned.
1. Conducts inspections and repairs electrical components, which includes electrical components on air conditioning and refrigeration systems, heaters, pumps, air handlers, fans, lighting, switches, panel boxes, GFCIs, motors, and transformers.
2. Troubleshoots and repairs heating/air conditioning systems, and assists the Building Maintenance Manager with maintaining the energy management system.
3. Conducts inspections and performs preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities; maintains records of activities.
4. Processes daily work orders.
5. Designs, builds, and installs structures for mechanical equipment, special events, information technology equipment, general tools, and other fixtures and furnishings.
6. Performs other repairs on buildings and fixtures, which includes carpentry, plumbing, and irrigation systems as assigned.
7. Assists the Building Maintenance Manager by providing work leadership to maintenance staff and ensuring work is performed safely and within specifications.
8. Leads the work of building maintenance staff in the absence of the supervisor.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED and (5) years construction or maintenance experience with electrical components; prefer electrical license (journeyman or masters)
