This role is based in Mounds View, MN, with a hybrid work model (currently 3 days onsite per week).

Join the US Sales Finance COE Team, where we support 11 unique Operating Units within Medtronic's Cardiovascular and Neuroscience portfolios, as well as the US Commercial Overlay organization. We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled financial professional to provide financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for the SH&A US Sales Organizations-one of the fastest-growing operating units at Medtronic.
This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with key stakeholders across various Operating Units, including Sales Finance, Operating Unit CFOs, and National Sales Leadership. As a key member of the US Sales Finance COE team, you will be responsible for:
• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Support our US Sales Organizations by performing financial planning, forecasting, and reporting of expenses.
• Monthly Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present monthly analysis, commentary, and forecasts, identifying key drivers, performance metrics, risks, and opportunities for leadership.
• Standardized Reporting: Develop and maintain standardized reporting and analytics to streamline processes across all Operating Units.
• Annual Operating Plan (AOP): Collaborate with Operating Unit finance teams to develop the annual operating plan and re-occurring forecasts.
• Compensation Planning: Partner with Total Rewards on annual compensation design meetings, identifying key metrics, modeling cost impacts, and calculating quarterly commissions expense.
• Expense Gap Analysis: Provide critical analysis to identify actions that close expense gaps and ensure financial targets are met.
• Cost Center Management: Manage all aspects of our US sales cost centers, including planning, forecasting, and maintaining the cost center structure.
• Collaboration with Sales Systems: Work with the Sales Systems team to optimize system tools and reporting.
• Continuous Improvement: Use insights and data to drive continuous process improvements.
• Relationship Building: Maintain strong working relationships with key functions, including Operating Unit Finance, Total Rewards, Sales Compensation, and Financial Systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (Or Advanced Degree with 5+ years).
Nice to Have:
• Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including revenue and expense analytics.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify key trends and drivers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for management.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
• Expertise in using systems and data to provide insightful analysis and implement actionable recommendations.
• High level of business acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently and self-motivate with limited oversight.
• Experience managing projects that require high collaboration across teams and building relationships.
• Familiarity with Medtronic financial systems, including SAP, Onestream, Essbase and Hyperion.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• An MBA or CPA designation is a plus.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$103,200.00 - $154,800.00
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
