PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Senior Rebuild Specialist is responsible for accurately quoting machine rebuilds, ensuring compliance with CAT specifications, and effectively communicating with customers and internal teams. This role requires a deep understanding of heavy equipment components, strong technical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Comprehensive background in heavy equipment component function, troubleshooting, and repair.
Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in relevant computer software and systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Must have the ability to set and keep priorities and professionally handle the stress associated with dealing with a fast-paced industry and deadlines.
Must be a Team-player that is enthusiastic and hard working with the ability to complete work with minimal supervision.
High degree of interpersonal skills with excellent written and oral communication skills is required.
Education/Background Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• 5+ years of comprehensive background in heavy equipment component function, troubleshooting, and repair.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit for long periods of time using a P.C. and/or telephone. Must be able to travel to other company locations or customer locations and at times, may require overnight stays. Must have the physical capabilities to climb stairs and carry large pieces of material handling equipment. Must have the ability to work in environments with exposure to wet/humid conditions, fumes, and occasional exposure to extreme cold or heat.
