On-Site: Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic (Administrative)
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues using advanced tools and diagnostic software (e.g., Cummins Insite, Bendix Acom, Cat ET).
Conduct servicing and maintenance, including fluid changes, tire repairs, and DEF/DPF system servicing.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to schedule maintenance and prioritize repairs.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills:
Expertise in diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulic systems, and electronic controls.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty machinery.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Experience and Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
1-3 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Fleet Mechanic preferred.
Military-experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
Additional Requirements:
Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus).
Clean driving record (5 years required).
Ability to provide a Motor Vehicle Record upon job offer.
Must pass pre-employment drug testing.
Possess your own large tools.
Willingness to travel and stay on-site five days a week throughout Northern California.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $21.00 - $45.00/hr, based on experience.
