We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Western Slope Health Center, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to provide high-quality therapeutic care to our residents, helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans for residents.
Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
Monitor and document residents' progress and report any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Educate residents and their families on exercises and activities to support their rehabilitation.
Ensure the therapy area is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of California.
Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred.
Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and exercises.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
