Indirect Purchasing Intern (Manufacturing)

Essential to this Position

The Indirect Purchasing Intern will be responsible for assisting the team with projects starting in May 2025 on a part-time basis and transitioning into a full-time role over the summer. The ideal candidate will stay on with the team throughout the year with a flexible part-time schedule. The intern will gain valuable real-world experience, working as an extension of the team, build relationships with multiple individuals across multiple functional areas and become well versed in SAP 4 HANA a widely used ERP system with larger manufacturers.

Areas of Learning/Responsibilities

• Assigned projects based on spend analysis and cost savings outcome
• Assist internal team members with their initiatives (Marketing, HR, etc.)
• Trouble shoot invoices and assist with supplier payment
• Provide day to day support with urgent needs that surface

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or other related degree
• Microsoft Outlook, Excel and SAP experience is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication and time management skills required
• Candidate must be able to work onsite during spring, summer and fall semesters
