IT Business Analyst (Finance)

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, proactive IT Business Analyst to join our team . This role requires a strong understanding of business processes, technology platforms, and stakeholder needs to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that systems and processes align with organizational objectives. You will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, conducting process analysis, and working closely with the business and IT teams to ensure successful solution implementation. ERP and Custom applications are a plus.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet business needs, user expectations, and align with the defined acceptance criteria.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
3. Conduct gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments to identify areas for improvement.
4. Create and maintain detailed documentation, including Business Requirement Documents, Functional Specifications, Process Flows, and Feature acceptance criteria.
5. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to extract key business insights and define project scope.
6. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
7. Serve as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams to ensure alignment and clear communication.
8. Support change management initiatives and ensure a smooth transition of new systems or processes.
9. Work closely with IT teams to design, develop, and implement scalable software and system solutions that align with business goals.
Minimum Job Requirements
1. 5+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or IT project management.
2. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
3. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
4. Certifications in Business Analysis is preferred.
5. Experience with ERP systems, custom applications, or enterprise software solutions is a plus.
6. Proficiency in business analysis tools such as ServiceDesk, Azure DevOps, Visio, or other requirement gathering tools.
7. Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
8. Strong understanding of business analysis frameworks, methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), and process modeling techniques.
9. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
