Project Support Manager (Finance)

Basic Job Function
The Project Support Manager plays a pivotal role in the planning, execution, delivery, and ongoing support of complex IT projects, with a strong emphasis on Operations. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Project Support, this position collaborates with various cross-functional teams, key stakeholders and external partners to drive process improvement, standardization, and data-driven decision-making across the business. In addition, the Project Support Manager is a dedicated resource for user training, process standardization and continuous improvement associated with lnEight, Sundt's project management platform.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist with training and support efforts for lnEight and other applications for which Project Support is responsible.
2. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from Operations and other departments as needed to ensure consistent and effective use of all lnEight products in accordance with Sundt's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and industry standards.
3. Drive Lean principles and practices throughout the organization in pursuit of continuous improvement and innovation.
4. Evaluate and propose updates to Sundt policies, SOPs, workflows, forms, templates and system manuals based on interaction with Operations and Support groups.
5. Lead and contribute to data governance efforts by enforcing data quality standards, ensuring system data integrity, and promoting best practices for data stewardship within the organization.
6. Lead or assist with software implementation projects and other IT-related enterprise initiatives.
7. Evaluate requests for new software applications in alignment with business objectives and identify opportunities for consolidation or elimination of existing applications to maximize operational efficiency.
Minimum Job Requirements
1. Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field preferred.
2. Minimum 7 years of experience in project controls, project management, or related construction industry roles
3. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Power Bl (advanced skills preferred for data analysis and reporting).
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
5. Strong knowledge of project controls principles, including cost and schedule management, earned value analysis, risk management, and forecasting.

6. Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.
7. Will use telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices on a frequent basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors
