Position Overview
Reporting to the Controller
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
Validate fuel purchases to the correct Inventory location
Monitor and enter inventory usage allocations to equipment out of INV locations utilizing the various transaction systems for each location.
Process daily and weekly vendor invoices.
Work with EM management on tracking and inventory usage to be able to validate Inventory balances and make appropriate adjustments.
Work with vendors on statements and timely payments for their services.
Work with the field operations team to improve tracking and usage.
Monitor equipment fuel usage for reasonableness and also fuel type and grade
Special projects as assigned.
Other routine office duties as needed or requested.
Additional Responsibilities
Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Environmental, Health & Safety Manual.
Strict adherence to company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Manual.
Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Proficient in basic Microsoft Office programs (word, excel, outlook)
- Experience with fuel management systems and fuel vendor relationship management preferred
- Excellent phone manners and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance job duties simultaneously.
- Good attendance and positive attitude a must.
- Dependable and timely
Work Requirements
Ability to communicate sufficiently to convey and exchange ideas, and to give and receive detailed verbal instructions.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Basic Accounting knowledge is preferable, but not required.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
