Overview
The Summer Hire Program at Cook Inc. provides experience in various manufacturing areas.
Responsibilities
• Complete job related duties and tasks based on department need
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization
• Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
• Must have effective oral and written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
Qualifications
• Must be 18 years of age and provide proof of identity (driver's license and Social Security card or passport)
• Must be enrolled for 2025 fall semester in an accredited college and provide proof of registration prior to first day of employment (acceptance letter, bursar's statement, course schedule, etc.)
• Must have a relative currently employed at Cook
• Must work 8 - 10 weeks beginning on June 16, 2025
• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Cook does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN status) for this position
